Although he is best remembered as Madonna's Latin lover in the "Borderline" video, or for his top ten dance
hit "Lap of Luxury", Louie Louie should truly be remembered for his high energy performances every Friday and
Saturday at Sunset Station. Shows start at 11:00 pm, with two sets of high performance, electrifying dance
music each night.

The Godfather met Louie Cordero (his real name) through
Kristine W several years ago. Kristine, a recording artist in her
own right, liked Louie's music so much that she offered him the
opening spot at her Las Vegas Hilton gigs. After two years of
opening for Kristine W, Louie and his entourage headed over to
Sunset Station to headline, where he continues to play for
"standing room only" crowds in the Madrid Room. Having seen
the show probably 200 times, the Godfather is always amazed
at the continuous shuffling in and out of new numbers. Most
recently Louie added music Lincoln Park and Green Day, which is
mixed in with tunes from his recently released CD - Dance Love
Work. In addition to great original music, Louie does amazing
covers of Stevie Wonder, Morris Day and the Time, and on
occasion, Cher. On a recent weekend, the Godfather was in the
house to see Louie and his posse perform. They include Gino G
and Sam Masarani on percussions, Andre on bass, and back-up
singers Christie and Cynthia. The Madrid Room was wall-to-wall
people, the drinks were flowing, and the music was energized.
Louie actually started his career as a dancer, so the stage show
is well choreographed. Without a doubt, one of the best
performers in Las Vegas!
